Betsy’s Books are in Washington, D.C

Many thanks to my friend Elizabeth (yes, another Elizabeth - not to be confused with the one based in Seattle - we lovingly call this one “Junior”) for offering to distribute some of Betsy’s Books in Washington, D.C.

Prior to distributing the books, she wrote:

“I’ve been flipping through the books and looking at the postcards. It’s nice to get to know your mom even a tiny bit through the things she left behind. This has brought some much appreciated light into a frigid and dismal week in DC.”

And once the job was done, she shared:

“I recruited a neighbor to help. We were deliberate in picking books for each library that were different from one another (reduce chances the same person would pick both” and distinct from what was already in stock.

Funny little coincidence. After we placed The Survival Handbook, we found the same book in the next Little Free Library.”

You can find a full list of the books that she distributed in Washington D.C. on the List of Books page - rows 63-79!
