I got a postcard!

I GOT MY FIRST POSTCARD BACK!

“The Marriage Contract” - Thomas Jefferson’s daughter signing it.

To be honest, I had kind of forgotten about the four books/postcards that I dropped off in a Little Free Library back in December - so much has happened since - I drove to California and back again, I hosted a “Get Shit Done” retreat for a group of 8 friends, and my friend Dana was staying with me and honestly we we have been having waaaay too much fun.

Anyway, I stopped by The Postman during an afternoon of errands, pulled a stack of mail from my P.O. Box and was STUNNED to see a brightly colored postcard among the bills and magazines.

I started crying as soon as I read the message on the postcard, and of course I filmed it because part of this project is about sharing back the messages that people write to me.

This is the proof of concept that I need to move this project forward. HERE WE GO!

Thank you to Wendy Isaacs for sending back the postcard found in “Instructions for a Heatwave” by Maggie O’Farrell!
